We Have Visitors

After a long week at work, I got a text message on my way home...

"we have visitors"

My sweet babies came to stay with us this weekend!

I love it when she comes to visit but I find myself devoting all my time to this little Sweetpea and nothing gets done around here.

But the laundry will wait for another day.

Who wouldn't want all this love after a long week at work?

Munchkins - Part II

When I have a good idea, I tend to repeat it.

I got 4 of the 5 munchkins in one place

and got them to sit still enough,

to fire off a couple of shots!

My siblings seriously make beautiful babies!

I'm with the band!

It has been a busy couple of days - after 500+ pictures of the Bard's play, I turned around to shoot 200+ pictures of the band the next night

I 'm getting better at shooting in low light - so thanks MMP for the practice!

I more or less have been dubbed the official Mike Matthews Project photographer!

Here is to a long and successful partnership guys!!

I know we read Shakespeare in high school but I don't ever recall

a Midsummer Might's Dream

being so funny!

Monkey Mamma (aka Sewwhat) asked me to come to the final dress rehearsal to shoot pictures for her ever growing costume portfolio.  It was a great play and also a bit of a challenge as an amateur photographer.  Weird stage lighting and no flash allowed stretched my vision but I was able to learn a lot from this shoot.  Major kudos to my mamma for creating yet another set of awesome costumes!

I couldn't resist!  I had a new camera, a smiling happy baby and a shelf full of monkeys at my disposal.
