On the First day of Christmas....

I was ready to post this last week, but MEF Nicole beat me to the punch! I guess that is brain sharing at it's best!

I had this crazy idea for our office holiday decorating contest and some crazy girl (love ya!) offered to help me out.  I wanted to use the 12 Days of Christmas as our theme and we printed out the words.  We also discovered that there is more than one variation on the wording which really confused us!  So without further ado, here is our rendition of the 12 Days of Christmas!  Sorry if they aren't clear, this is the best I could do with my camera phone!

LOVE all the cut-outs! And it really makes the point that I've always made about this song: the dude clearly had some kind of bird fixation, didn't he?

Didya win?!

Looks like you put that Cricut machine to GREAT use! I love them. This has always been my favorite carol. And yes, there was a bird fixation.

I got the easy, bird fixation part of the project. My friend not only volunteered to help me but also picked 7-12 to do. I love how she combined the Joys of the Season and PaperDolls - she did an awesome job!

I echo friend Momma Martha's message, the Cricut machine can do so many things. WE used this crazy song as our way to get in the mood at our Ladies Club Christmas Party last Thursday, it got us all moving after a huge pot luck dinner.

NV- We didn't win but that wasn't the point anyway. We did get 15 minutes PTO time for playing along. Like that does us any good!

So cute, did you make all of these or what? If so, I bow to you.

Ann - We have this amazing machine called a Cricut that cuts out all of the shapes. Of course, if they would only invent on that pieces them all together for us, we would be in heaven! Thanks!
