Thirty years after the launch of their first album and back on the road again, you would think that these guys would be traveling with an entourage but - no - the Biker guy was all alone. Short shorts and a sleeveless T were just half of his ensemble. His outfit was completed with a leather biker cap slightly askew on top of his snowy white hair. White crew socks pulled up nice and tight matched his snowy white tennies perfectly.
I felt like a fish out of water in the lumber department on a weekday morning but this guy looked even more lost than I did! I still have no idea what he was looking for but every time I turned around, he was there. Wandering around looking completely and totally lost. I guess I had the advantage of being a woman because their were lots of guys willing to help me find what I was looking for. Not so, for the Village Person - everyone completely ignored him. For all I know he is still roaming the aisles looking for some mysterious item!
Speaking of Village People, what is up with this look? I think they forgot that one of their hits is "Macho Man"........

As former members of the staff of the local YMCA, I remember how we sang with extra fervor at our colleague's wedding reception that fav played by wedding Dj's. Other than that, I don't think I could identify one other aspect of the Village People, let alone recognize one in the lumber aisle in Lowe's. Good celebrity spotting, MonkeyGirl, it is good paparazzi training!
Wow -- all the hours I log at Lowe's and I never see anything THAT interesting ... Maybe I'll find a Carter Oosterhouse twin there one day. :-)
Thanks again for this mission!
THAT album cover is the Village People? WTF? It looks like they got in a fight with Flock Of Seagulls and lost. I'm so confused.
Ann -- I thought the same thing only I was thinking more Culture Club/Adam Ant!
Ann and NV - I know! That's why I had to post the picture - I was thinking more of an ugly Duran Duran in the Hungry Like a Wolf stage
